#Tutorial Four and Five: Video Production Sessions

Task One: Follow instructions and work in a small group to plan and produce and edit a 30 second short.
Task Two: Set up a U Tube account
Task Three: Follow instructions to posting your video on U Tube.
Task Four (Blog Posting): Provide a brief summary of the services offered by U Tube. Information can be drawn from the week five tutorial hand out.

You tube is a popular web video sharing site that lets absolutely anybody store short videos for private or public viewing. You tube was founded In 2005. You tube provides a venue for sharing videos among friends and family as well as a showcase for new and experienced videographers. Featuring videos it considers entertaining. You tube has become a destination for ambitious videosgraphers, as well as amateurs who fancy making a statement of some kind and then there’s the nosey people who make it possible to keep on going.











Task Five (Blog Posting): Provide a brief account (1-2 paragraphs) on how the use of planning (storyboarding and scripting aided your groups short film.

When we were told that we had to make a 30 second film you could see everyone’s faces drop ..well mine mostly. We got into groups and then we were given a sheet which was helpful to up to brainstorm on. It was beneficial for us as a group as it let us all know what we wanted individual and it helped us to look at all the individual wants to be able to get a picture of how we could put them together to what we wanted collectively as a group. Using this template (storyboard) meant that it wasn’t set in stone and some of the shots we envisioned that were not possible could be changed J
